Voters can now look up their nearest polling station and check whether the location is accessible for individuals with a disability on the platform ‘Waar is mijn stemlokaal‘.
The ‘Waar is mijn stemlokaal‘ project is a collaboration with the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations and VNG Realisatie. Municipalities had to upload their data on the platform through a standard format that was developed in collaboration with VNG-KING. The open data can now be repurposed for new applications. Last year several organisations, such as RTL Nieuws, DataDuic and LocalFocus, used the data. This year’s data is now available on WaarIsMijnStemlokaal.nl/data and data.overheid.nl.
