On Thursday the 20th of September the Dutch House of Representatives will hold a meeting on public transport. Mobility as a Service will be part of the agenda. OpenGeo and Open State Foundation ask the House of Representatives to promote the availability of open data on mobility. Information on travel behavior, congestion, transaction and additional public transport, like rental bikes and taxis, is still not available in the Netherlands.

To provide travelers, researchers, but also policy makers the possibility to optimally plan their trip and to better map and organize future flows of traffic more open data is needed. Open Geo and Open State Foundation have sent a letter to parliament to address the issue.
