Which innovative and creative applications are possible with the data of the Dutch Public Broadcasting? Find out at the launch of NPO Backstage on the 27th of May in Hilversum.
During the launch developers, television programme-makers and data enthusiasts will meet each other at the Mediapatio of the KRO-NCRV in Hilversum. The director Television of the NPO, Frans Klein, will give the starting signal for NPO Backstage.
On the evening data-experts of the Open State Foundation, who made the API, and programme-makers of the NPO will be there to help programmers with the NPO Backstage API.
At the starting point the available data are NPO Journalistic data. Later on data of Wetenschap24 will become accessible. All broadcasts and programme-makers can join the API. The API will expand throughout the year.
Developers can use this data, along with other data, in the NPO Backstage competition. The most creative and innovative apps will be rewarded.
