Tom Kunzler, assistent-director of Open State Foundation is saying goodbye to Open State Foundation after working five years in the service of open government. On the 25th of November he will start as a consultant at Public Matters in The Hague. In his last column he writes about the need for a digital centralization of the Dutch system of government. Currently every government is responsible for its own software. This results in increased public spending, lack of use of standards and less accessible public information.
