These legal arangements are used to organise waste treatment, employment or safety. Local representatives complain about the lack of transparency and accountability in these schemes. With <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.openstate.eu\/en\/opengr\">OpenGR<\/a><\/strong> we want to open this black box.<\/p>\n<p><embed src=\"https:\/\/aef.cartodb.com\/viz\/6bef4808-e465-11e5-a058-0e5db1731f59\/embed_map\" width=\"100%\" height=\"520\"><\/embed><\/p>\n<p>The data unlocked for\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.openstate.eu\/en\/opengr\">OpenGR<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>can be found on Open State Foundation\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/openstate\/datasets\/tree\/master\/gemeenschappelijke_regelingen\">Github<\/a>. Here you can find the data that was retrieved after a formal FOIA and re-use request of the information from\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/openstate\/datasets\/tree\/master\/gemeenschappelijke_regelingen\/provincies\" target=\"_blank\">regional authorities<\/a>. We also have published the data (after a re-use request of government data) that forms the basis of <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/openstate\/datasets\/tree\/master\/gemeenschappelijke_regelingen\/regioatlas\" target=\"_blank\">regioatlas.nl<\/a>. On this website the government collects sub-local government cooperations and regional divisions but no information on common arrangements.<\/p>\n<p>Of some 147 common arrangements with annual expenses exceeding 20 million euro, budgets and annual accounts can be found on <a href=\"http:\/\/openspending.nl\/#tab-gemeenschappelijke-regelingen\" target=\"_blank\">openspending.nl<\/a>. The budgets and annual accounts of common arrangements collected via de regional authorities can be found via <a href=\"http:\/\/www.documentcloud.org\/api\/search.json?q=projectid:25268-opengr&amp;per_page=393\" target=\"_blank\">DocumentCloud\u2019s API<\/a>.
