Battle of the Laws is a serious game that simulates the role of a politician. Such politicians make decisions in accordance with their political convictions, which are key to the process of political decision-making.
With the right cooperation of party members and rival parties, gamers learn to operate in a parliament where laws are passed or rejected on the basis of majority support.
In this simulation, students aim at achieving the highest score for themselves as politicians as well as their political party. As such, the game contributes to two particular educational goals:
